Abdul Aziz Mohammed Ahmed Al Balushi, is the Group CEO of OMINVEST with over 35 years of professional experience. He has in-depth knowledge of the global financial services industry. Prior to joining OMINVEST, Abdulaziz was the CEO of Ahli Bank SAOG from 2007 to 2013. In April 2019 he was awarded the “CEO of the year” award at the Oman Banking and Finance Awards by Oman Economic Review. Abdulaziz holds a Masters of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Strathclyde in the UK and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in the UK. Abdulaziz served at various boards across the Sultanate and as an Advisory Board member in the College of Agriculture and Marine Services at Sultan Qaboos University.
